Meet Ioana
I’ve always been drawn to work that makes a difference—not just in numbers, but in people’s lives and the world we share.
With a Master’s from ETH Zurich and further studies in sustainability at Cambridge, I’ve worked in diverse contexts — from global corporations to fast-growing startups. Over the last ten years, I navigated the worlds of tech, fashion, and consulting, where I’ve helped scale startups, led international programs, and supported teams in turning purpose into action.
I guided a fashion-tech company through B Corp Certification and into the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Jeans Redesign program. Then, my experience with B Lab Switzerland equipped me further with a practical, inside-out understanding of the B Corp framework in order to support certification efforts.
These diverse experiences have shaped my ability to connect purpose with performance—making sure that sustainability isn’t a cost center, but a catalyst for real business results.
Today, with Kaizen, I am excited to support companies that want to grow responsibly—embedding sustainability into how they think, build, and lead. Because I want to look back and know I contributed to leaving a better world for those who come next.
Meet Sara
Kaizen—the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement—isn't just a business methodology for me; it's a way of life. I've never followed a linear path; curiosity has been my compass.
With a background in marketing, communication and business development, I've worked across education, entertainment, non-profits, and tech, always drawn to projects with purpose.
Over the years, I’ve led marketing departments and, as a consultant, I supported startups, SMEs, and international organizations in scaling their initiatives. In 2024 I certified as an Affiliated B Leader with B Lab Switzerland by supporting companies in their B Corp Certification.
In 2020, I co-founded Impact Hub Ticino, a space for changemakers dedicated to social innovation and sustainability, where I played a role in community and ecosystem building, running strategic initiatives.
Since 2019 I am a Lecturer in entrepreneurship, brand activism, and marketing at SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland), where I support both students and professionals to develop the skills needed in today’s evolving startup landscape.
Mentoring and empowerment are central to my work; in my free time, I support entrepreneurs and young professionals in their career and in business development, being especially dedicated to female leadership.
At my core, I believe business can, and should, be a force for good, and I’m committed to leaving a better planet for my children.
That’s where Kaizen begins.
